Health coaching is a process that helps you identify your deepest values, connect to your inner wisdom, transform your goals into actions, and facilitate sustainable health and lifestyle changes. Health Coaching draws on principles from Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing, and Active Listening and can also incorporate tools like Yoga, Mindfulness and Breathwork.
My own ongoing health journey combined with my Holistic Health Coach and Yoga Teacher training gives me a combination of tools and experience to understand these sometimes complex connections and take a holistic approach to supporting you as a whole person, not just a list of symptoms, a number on the scale or a diagnosed condition.
Relationships, exercise, career, environment and spirituality are just as important to our health as the food we eat. What works for one person doesn’t work for everyone and sometimes what worked for us at one point in our life might have lost is effectiveness in the present. Despite what marketers are constantly telling us, no one diet, form of exercise, or spiritual practice works for all people.

3 MONTH WELLNESS TRANSFORMATION PROGRAM
This program will vary according to your specific goals and needs. Because each of us is unique, this program allows us time to go in depth, taking into consideration the whole person—body, mind & spirit. We look at nutrition habits and lifestyle; including sleep, movement, self-care and environmental toxins to provide a program tailored specifically to you. We will begin with an intake that looks at health history, symptom analysis, as well as a diet and lifestyle assessment.
- Complimentary 20 minute session to determine your goals and see if working together is a good fit (optional)
- Six 50 minute sessions to help you stay on track and provide regular support and encouragement
- Written summaries provided within 48 hours after each session
- Email and text support over the 3 month program
- Private Pinterest page with articles and recipes
- Follow-up sessions as needed to keep you moving forward after the 3 month program. We will use these sessions for ongoing encouragement, tracking progress, and making adjustments as needed.
All sessions can be in person or by phone, Zoom or Skype.
1 MONTH NUTRITION & WELLNESS PROGRAM
This option is for those who need support around a specific issue like getting rid of sugar cravings, modifying habits to address a specific health concern, or receiving support for managing food allergies and sensitivities. Alternatively, it can be used as a jumping-off point for boosting overall health and wellness with the understanding that future drop-in sessions may be required for best results. We will complete an intake discussing your main health concern or goal(s), along with your lifestyle habits, then develop an action plan including nutrition, activity and holistic lifestyle suggestions to get you started.
- Initial 90 minute consultation to determine your goals and see if working together is a good fit
- 30 minute follow-up about a week later to discuss progress (via phone or Skype)
- Final 30 minute follow-up 2-3 weeks later to make sure you are on track
- Email and text support over the 1 month program
- Private Pinterest page for recipes, articles, and information related to your goals and concerns

WELLNESS CONSULTATION (ONE TIME VISIT)
This is a 90 minute session for new clients (who have not purchased a 1 or 3 month Program Plan) who want a drop-in session to ask questions and receive immediate feedback around a specific need or topic. After answering some questions in an email prior to our visit, we will discuss your main concern or health goal and receive a follow up pdf with dietary, lifestyle, and mind-body recommendations to address your main concerns.
WELLNESS CONSULTATION (FOR CLIENTS)
50 minute sessions at a discounted hourly rate for clients who have already purchased a program or consultation in the past year and desire further personalized support as they go further on their health journey.
PANTRY MAKEOVER OR GROCERY STORE GUIDE
We will meet in person for one hour and review what is in your Fridge and Pantry or go shopping together at the store of your choice. This is an opportunity to look at and discuss how to read labels, how to detect “hidden” ingredients and how to shop on a budget for healthy food. Specialized and tailored packages available by request and a 50% discount is available for this service for purchase in addition to a One or Three Month Wellness Plan.
ONE-ON-ONE COMPLIMENTARY BEAUTYCOUNTER CONSULTATION
This is an opportunity to try Beautycounter products for yourself and to learn more about our mission of getting safe products into the hands of everyone. I will introduce you to our "Never" list of ingredients that you will NEVER find in any of our products and make suggestions based on your skin type, budget and other concerns. We will look up products on the EWG skin deep app and website and identify ingredients that may be lurking in your products negatively impacting your health. A PDF will be provided to you within 48 hours that includes recommendations for safer products and DIY recipes for any products we identified as potentially harmful and you will receive a coupon for $25 an order of $50 or more on any Beautycounter products plus 10% off a 1 or 3 Month Wellness Program.

I believe that income should not be prohibitive of good health and in addition to offering sliding scale services, I volunteer with a local organization that distributes fresh food for free and provides free wellness and cooking demonstrations. In 2017 I will be part of a new program funded by grants offering health coaching for free to some of their participants as well as free health and wellness classes that are open to the community.
